Yai is an illustrator & storyteller based in North Carolina who is passionate about creating stories that dive deep and push hard. Her illustrative and written work are marked by warm hues that both comfort and challenge as they invite her readers into their adventure. Inspired by the emotions and feelings that swirl from the human experiences of growing up and chasing your inner spark, she strives to capture these difficult but beautiful storylines in graphics soaked in warm sunlight.
When not illustrating or writing, you can find her discussing video game lore with her partner, playing with their two dogs, or sitting in wonder at the movie theater catching the latest cinematic masterpiece.
