Elsa Martins has worked as a photographer and also a graphic designer. She believes those skills have made her a better illustrator. She lives in sunny Portugal with her husband, a toddler who loves to ask Mommy to draw things, and her dog, Tosta (that’s Portuguese for “toast”— Elsa really likes bread).
Elsa's recent clients include Highlights for Children, Usborne Publishing, and Éditions Lito.
